One day at a time

Jackson is in stable but critical condition. He’s better than he was 24 hours ago but he has a long way to go. Our goals for today were to wean ventilator settings and blood pressure medicines. They were able to drop his ventilator settings a little today. They decreased his blood pressure meds slightly but would have liked to do more. He is not yet outputting urine. So, after we get the blood pressure under control, the kidneys will be the next focus.

I would like to give a shout out to Gabby’s Cafe in Wyoming for providing dinner for tonight. It’s been a rough 24 hours and it was nice (nice isn’t the word but I’m too tired to think of something more eloquent) to come home to a delicious dinner after spending two consecutive nights and days at the hospital.

Again, thank you to everyone for your continued support and prayers.
