The initial plan was to take the breathing tube out yesterday but Jackson’s blood pressure dropped a little on Monday night and he was too fluid positive yesterday morning so the docs pushed it off one day. He had a good night last night and they just took out the breathing tube around noon today and put him back on BiPAP, which he seems to be tolerating well.

Tomorrow we hit a full four weeks inpatient. I just learned that we may switch rooms if we are still in the PICU at the thirty day mark. Hospital protocol is to change hospital rooms every 30 days so that the rooms can be thoroughly cleaned.

This experience has been nothing but stressful but we are so happy that Jackson continues going in the right direction. Thank you again for all of your support and prayers.
