What do you do when you’re too big for the changing table? Josh and I have been contemplating this for a few months. Jackson is very long/tall. I’m not sure where he gets it because it’s certainly not from the Italians. His feet overhang the changing pad and bang on the hard wood of the changing table. Families with normal children don’t have to worry about this because I think they stop using the changing table when their kids get to a certain age/start walking and their children will eventually use the potty.
Josh and I, on the other hand, see the changing table in our indefinite future, which begs the question: What do you do when you’re too big for the changing table?
You get a bigger changing table. Duh.
I asked my dad to build Jackson a new changing table. I didn’t think he was paying attention until this appeared at our house today:

This monster of a changing table is four feet long, has sides the curve up just like the one you buy at the store and is sure to last for years to come.
Below is a comparison of the supersize vs. the normal size changing table. The white one is the one you would buy at Babies R Us.
Problem solved.

That is so awesome! What a great gift from Jackson’s Grandfather!
Dad’s are wonderful and especially when they are handy.
This is wonderful! Way to go, Grandpa.
Excellent, dad! Future revenue generator for him 🙂
I had no doubt Mario would come up with the perfect changing pad. He has an innovative mind and artistic talent! You are so blessed to have such a great dad! Do you think I could order one for Dana?
You’re dad is awesome!!!
I love your dad, he is the best!!!
